A week ago voices were heard coming from the village well. Some of the folk soon went down to investigate but have not returned since. The village people gathered their funds to hire a group of adventurers to traverse down, find their people, and potentially discover the source of the voices.

The Lightless Beacon: Call of Cthulhu

It's April 12th, 1926. A dark, rain-lashed night off the coast of Rockport, Massachusetts.

The voyage from Ipswich was supposed to be a short, routine trip. Instead, the evening ends in disaster as your vessel strikes a submerged reef, the hull splintering against the rocks. Through the driving rain and crashing surf, a single hope remains: Beacon Island.

Usually, the island’s lighthouse serves as a steady guide for weary sailors, but tonight its great lamp is cold and dark. As you scramble onto the slick, jagged rocks of the shoreline, the silence from the lighthouse is more unnerving than the storm itself. The keepers are nowhere to be found, the quarters are ransacked, and strange, unsettling sounds echo from the darkness beneath the cliffs.

You and your fellow survivors must find a way to light the beacon and signal for help before the storm worsens—but as the tide rises, you begin to realise that you aren't the only things that crawled out of the sea tonight.
